Editorial Committee of the Journal of Information Processing

The Editorial Committee of JIP (Journal of Information Processing) is pleased to announce that the bibliography information about JIP is now available at DBLP.

DBLP is a well known international bibliography server maintained by Dr. Michael Lay of University Trier in Germany. It provides bibliographic information on major computer science journals and proceedings. The name comes from "DataBase systems and Logic Programming", because it was initially focused on these research areas. However, it is gradually being expanded toward other fields of computer science, and changes acronym/abbreviation as "Digital Bibliography & Library Project". It now lists more than 1,700,000 publications of wide research fields in computer science, and is referred to by many computer science researchers.

The page of JIP in DBLP lists articles in Vol.16-19, since we have sent the bibliography information of JIP from 2008, when we divided our Journal into IPSJ Journal in Japanese and JIP in English.

As the effect of listing in DBLP, the visibility of JIP will be advanced by increasing the opportunity of being matched with search keywords to be cited by other articles. It will also provide good effects for increasing the "Impact Factor" of JIP and the number of submissions to JIP.
