Call for Papers Journal of Information Processing Special issue of “Computer Security Technologies for AI-Driven Social Infrastructure”
The Editorial Committee of the Journal of Information Processing
The Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue on "Computer Security Technologies for AI-Driven Social Infrastructure." The rapid advancement and deployment of AI technologies, including generative AI, are fundamentally transforming information systems, business processes, network services, and the very foundations of social infrastructure. This special issue solicits research papers on computer security technologies that support and safeguard this evolving AI-driven infrastructure. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: attacks targeting AI systems and their defenses; AI-powered attack detection, analysis, and defense; evaluation of the safety, reliability, and robustness of AI systems; privacy protection; authentication and access control; software supply chain security; defense of critical infrastructure and IoT systems; usable security in the context of human-AI collaboration; and governance, legal, ethical, and societal acceptance issues. Original papers, as well as extended versions of papers presented at domestic and international workshops, symposiums, and conferences, are welcomed.

The consultation period will run until the submission deadline, November 27, 2026. Note that the presence or length of an appendix will not be used as a basis for unfavorable evaluation.
(8) Use of Generative AI
This special issue does not prohibit the use of generative AI in paper writing. However, for the sake of research transparency and reliability, authors who use generative AI are encouraged to describe the nature and extent of its use in the Acknowledgements section. The presence or absence of such a disclosure will not be used as a criterion for acceptance or rejection. Authors bear full responsibility for all content in their papers.
