Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue of “Information Systems”.
In the special issue of this journal, the program committee especially seeks paper submissions to information systems focusing on theory and practice. The information systems support collection, processing, transfer, and use of information required for the activity of an organism or society. The program committee thinks as important the necessity and usefulness of an information system which are used by the activity of an organization and society. Topics may cover a wide range of issues associated with communities, information system analysis, design, implementation and operation, these theories and practice, and the relation between information systems and social environment. Dr. Yoshio Kakizaki, Tokyo Denki University, has been invited to act as a guest editor for this special issue.

Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is currently encouraging more submissions from outside of Japan.
The publication fee of any accepted papers will not be charged if all the authors of the paper belong to institutes outside Japan.
