Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue of “the Internet and operation technologies for comfortable administrations and operations”.
In recent years, with the spread of cloud services, information systems have become large-scale and centralized, and the burden on administrations and operations of the system providers is increasing. Under such circumstances, with regard to the development of software that provides services on the Internet, methods for automating and increasing efficiency by using continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) have been used. . In addition, information systems that use container virtualization and its orchestration technology to operate the service in a scalable manner are increasing. These technologies are reducing the burden on the providers involved in the operation of the infrastructure system, but the burden on the operators is still high.
In this special issue, we focus on technologies that make operations and administrations of the Internet and infrastructure systems more efficient, and that not only users but also providers can operate comfortably. We will publish papers on the latest research, development, experiment, and operation for implementation and utilization of future infrastructure systems. We evaluate papers that solve problems in practice rather than in theory, and that are considered useful in other environments. We aim to contribute to the evolution of various operation technologies related to information systems.
We target papers in the following areas, but are not necessarily limited to them.
● Technologies that increase efficiency in operations and administrations
● Technologies that reduces the burden on operations and administrations
● Human resource training in system operation
● Other topics related to comfortable system operation and administration
We invite Mikifumi Shikida of Kochi University of Technology as the guest editor for the special issue.
