Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue of "Internet and Operation Technology from Risk Management Perspective".
Reconstruction after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami has continued through nine months after the occurrence. For network researchers, network engineers and system administrators, it is worth considering what we have done directly after the earthquake and what we should do. In this special issue, we are making a concerted effort to attract excellent papers discussing problems concerned in operation technology of network and computer system from risk management perspective with a lot of experiences and practices after the earthquake as a beginning point of discussion. As a result, it has aimed to contribute to the development of the Internet as dependable social infrastructure.
