○Cedric Neergaard,村上弘晃,韓 燦教,川原圭博(東大)
To tackle social challenges and create new business opportunities related to the value of air, this study evaluates thermal comfort during the summer at a university residence, focusing on the effectiveness of air conditioning systems. A survey with 27 participants was conducted, and the data were analyzed using various data mining techniques, such as correlation analysis, tabulations, and clustering. The analysis indicates a correlation between thermal comfort and variables such as issues with humidity and odor, loss of focus, participant’s origin, and window direction. These findings offer insight into the determinants of thermal comfort, serving as a basis for further research into optimizing air conditioning systems and enhancing the value of air in creating more sustainable and comfortable living environments.
