The game is played on a field paved with hexagonal cells by four teams. Each team have four agents, three samurai and a dog, which move around a field paved with hexagonal cells, trying to enlarge the territories of the team. Gunbai Script is a programming language that controls the team agents. It is language with a small set of features, designed to be easy for new learners. The contest consists of regional preliminary rounds and the final round, each of which is conducted as a tounament with a yet-another modified Swiss system.
