Call for Paper: (PDFversion) | (TEXT version)
Ubiquitous computer network shall include wide variety of sensor devices. These sensor devices has large heterogeneity, such as associated with computing capability, geographical location, types of sensor information, as well as associated the applications using those sensors. We realize that the sensor networking has a lot of technical challenges, such as operating system, routing, device management architecture, security and privacy. Also, some practical professional applications, such as monitoring the heat island phenomena in metropolitan using weather sensors, has been exploring, recently. This workshop encourage the submission of papers, associated with the technologies and applications on sensor networking. We organized the workshop at SAINT2007 and this workshop is the second workshop of this research field.
- System architecture
- Middleware and key component technologies
- Practical applications and it's testbed operation

Workshop: | July 28 - August 1, 2008 (exact date is TBD) |
Paper submission and review will be done electronically. Papers should be sent to the Organizer no late than March 1, 2008 via e-mail. The e-mail address is <saint2008-submit@ns.ut.live-e.org>. After review process by Program Committee of the Workshop, authors of accepted papers will be requested to send its final manuscript to IEEE-CS press no later than May 1, 2008. So, authors are kindly requested to submit papers as early as possible to facilitate a review process.
Workshop registration will be handled by the SAINT 2008 organization along with the main conference registration. It is the IEEE policy that accepted papers can be published only when IEEE recognized that at least one author has registered for presentation. So, authors will be requested to register along with the final manuscript. SAINT Conference Registration fees include a copy of the Conference proceedings, a copy of the Workshop proceedings, admission to the Conference/Workshop sessions.
The date and length (a full or half day) of the Workshop will be decided by SAINT 2008 Organizing Committee taking account of the number submitted of papers, and be notified on the SAINT 2008 web. Please also note that, according to the SAINT 2008 Organizing Committee, the Workshop is subject to cancellation when the number of submitted papers will not be enough.
