=================================== The 2nd International Workshop on Practical Applications of Sensor Networking In Conjunction with SAINT2008 Turuk, Finland July 28-August2, 2008 CALL FOR PAPERS Ubiquitous computer network shall include wide variety of sensor devices. These sensor devices has large heterogeneity, such as associated with computing capability, geographical location, types of sensor information, as well as associated the applications using those sensors. We realize that the sensor networking has a lot of technical challenges, such as operating system, routing, device management architecture, security and privacy. Also, some practical professional applications, such as monitoring the heat island phenomena in metropolitan using weather sensors, has been exploring, recently. This workshop encourage the submission of papers, associated with the technologies and applications on sensor networking. - System architecture - Middleware and key component technologies - Practical applications and it's testbed operation We organized the workshop at SAINT2007 and this workshop is the second workshop of this research field.
