【講演概要】Google pioneered in developing technologies to handle bigdata problems and has dominant positions in bigdata, cloud and data center technologies. The ABCD layer, which is computing platform for hyper-connected intelligent society, consists of AI, Bigdata, Cloud and Data Center layers. Data center is a dedicated building equipped with electricity and cooling infrastructure to provide 24x365 ICT services safely and efficiently. In this talk, we explain the concepts and terms related with data center, major types of data center and technologies to improve data center energy usage. We also briefly explain data center market, related standards and issues. 【略歴】Yunmook Nah received his B.E., M.E. and PhD degrees in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea, in 1986, 1988, 1993, respectively.
