Call for Paper: (TEXT version)

THEME OF THE WORKSHOP

Company, campus and community networks are important infrastructures for business, education, research and social activity now. It is impossible to do such activities without these networks today. These networks have to be robust, reliable, fast, convenient and safe. Operators, administrators and managers of these networks are struggling to construct the networks, fix the networks if there are troubles, train users, cope with users' requests, keep the networks safe and improve them. Company, campus and community networking include these challenging jobs. This workshop is a forum for the operators, administrators, managers and researchers who are in charge of these networks. Technology is an important element of these networks. Knowledge and technique of operation, management and ethics are also important elements. Topics of this workshop include all of them.

• IT processes, ITIL
• User policy and service level agreements
• Computer ethics and education

PAPERS AND AUTHOR'S KIT

Workshop papers should be within 4 pages, no extra page is allowed. The Proceedings of the Symposium and the Workshops will be published, in separated volumes, by the IEEE Computer Society Press. PAPER SUBMISSION

Papers should be submitted on-line no later than February 28, 2010 March 10, 2010 (extended). The submission site can be reached at https://www.easychair.org/login.cgi?conf=saint2010c3net. After a review process by Organizers and Program Committee of the Workshop, authors of accepted papers will be requested to send final manuscripts to IEEE-CS press no later than April 30, 2010. So, authors are kindly requested to submit papers as early as possible to facilitate a review process.

REGISTRATION

It is the IEEE policy that accepted papers can be published only when IEEE recognizes that at least ONE author has completed FULL registration for SAINT Conference. So, authors will be requested to register along with the final manuscript. SAINT Conference Registration fees include a copy of the Conference proceedings, a copy of the Workshop proceedings, and admission to the Conference and Workshop sessions.

NOTE

The date and length (a full or half day) of the Workshop will be decided by SAINT2010 Organizing Committee taking account of the number of submitted papers, and be announced on the SAINT2010 web. Please also note that, according to the SAINT2010 Organizing Committee, the Workshop is subject to cancellation if the number of submitted papers is not sufficient.
