Recently, this trend is reflected to the virtual and augmented reality and thus the border between the real and virtual worlds are becoming indistinguishable. The International Symposium on Ubiquitous Virtual Reality has been a successful event where people can exchange fresh ideas about recent trends with other researchers from different backgrounds. This year, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 7th International Symposium on Ubiquitous Virtual Reality (ISUVR 2009) with the theme "Life in Dual Space", held 8-11 July 2009 in Gwangju, South Korea.
