MANET Topology Control based on the remaining energy of nodes

Main challenges to tackle when using the Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) of mobile terminals are to increase the communication efficiency and to minimize the energy consumption. Topology control of the network by transmission power has been investigated to stabilize the communication in a dense environment. In this study, we propose a new strategy of the topology control to minimize the node’s power consumption based on the remaining energy thus to prolong the node’s life as long as possible.
