Mobile apps are affected by GUI events, as well as external events like phone calls, GPS, and hardware sensors. In this paper, we propose a test case generation approach for mobile apps, specifically Android apps, which focuses on external events. We identified and considered two types of external events: the explicit events and the implicit events, which are handled and not handled by the app respectively.
