OpenFlow based Crossbar Network

In recent, power saving of the cloud has become an important issue. ARM is a power-saving CPU than mainstream x86 in the current cloud. However, applications for the cloud are limited from the lack of virtualization mechanism. The ARM that can’t be virtualized bare metal cloud is suitable. In the bare metal cloud there is a need to virtualize the network. In this paper, to realize a scalable virtual network based on a mesh using the OpenFlow. In the proposed network, it performs crossbar connections in the mesh, it can be assigned to any node in any group. It wants to control the cross-bar connection with OpenFlow. Crossbar switches are created by using the Raspberry Pi is ARM computer. In this paper, we evaluate the scan loss bar switch that you have created, to verify the practicality.
