description
|
Proofreading and checking of academic papers in English to be published in the
Journal of the Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ) and other publications.
- The selected candidate will work at home. E-mail and
FAX may be used for receiving and sending documents for
proofreading/checking.

Qualifications
|
Candidates must:
1.
have a Master's degree in Computer Science or related
area or equivalent.
2.
be a native speaker of English.
3.
sign a non-disclosure agreement to maintain confidentiality.
- Persons with experience in English proofreading/checking
are particularly welcome.

Remuneration
|
Piecework system (7,500 Yen/paper).
- When a need arises for English proofreading/checking,
we will contact the selected candidate.
Proofreading/checking should be completed
within 1 week.
For reference, the number of jobs is expected to be 5 to 10 papers/year per person
(with about 6,000 words or more per paper).

After the selection, the resumes and other documents
of persons not selected will be destroyed securely

The selection process consists of two stages:
1st stage: Resume will be screened.
2nd stage: Selection will be made based on
English proofreading/checking of a sample document. Candidates who have passed
the 1st stage will be informed of the details for the 2nd stage. We cannot respond to any inquiries regarding judging.
